BACKGROUND
We noticed from several interactions between predator and prey that there was a perverse intimacy and symmetry between the two in the final moments of the prey’s life. It seemed editorially destined to hang this idea of the similarities of the images with a powerful almost lyrical commentary.

The story
This is the story of the famous leopard Olimba from Zambia’s Luangwa River. The Steenkamps’ breathtaking camerawork is world class and it was an honour to find their best material and show it off for all its worth.
